What is a large family?

A large family is made up of one or two parents with 4 or more children.

Membership can also be accessed by those families who have three children with the above-mentioned characteristics, in the event that any of the children has a special need that implies a greater challenge for the development and prosperity of the family (such as chronic sickness or disablity).

Children of large families must meet the following requirements:

Must be unmarried.

Must live together with the parent or parents.

Must be financially dependent on the parent or parents.

Must be clasified as a dependant by the aplicable social security laws. For example, been under 21 years of age. This age limit is extended to the date when they turn 26 in the case of students. There is no age limit for disabled children.

*These children could being either the children of both parents or of any one of the parents. As long as they live together.
